108. THE EARTH TONES, COLOURS OF THE EARTH

The United Nations support the annual celebration of International Earth Day - a global holiday to celebrate the wonder of life on our planet - on the March equinox.
However, a similar celebration is held in some countries on April 22nd. Both initiatives started in the United States, between 1969 and 1970 (how strange is that?).
